A couple of quick games and it’s 2-0 to Chris but I can see this may be the first of many.

Final Report

The end of a very good well organised  tournament. Fantastic performances from  everyone  !
The players enjoyed their games and totally appreciated all the coaching from Chris and John - their instruction, support and analysis was invaluable.
The parents and sisters were also fantastic support. This is a tough tournament full of ups and downs and all the accompanying people played a vital role. Thank you everyone.

My main aim for this tournament, was that these players had the opportunity to play their best chess against the top players from other countries. I am hoping that the experience will encourage them to want to do even better next time ! That they will come away with a greater enthusiasm for the game, and it will inspire the players to be more self-motivated to improve their own performance.

2011 World Youth is in Rio de Janeiro 12th - 22nd November
