1st Girls UK and Ireland Chess Championships
June 10th
The 1st UK and Ireland Girls' Chess Championship was held at Hinchley Wood School, Surrey. It consisted of 5 rapidplay glames scoring 3 for a win, 2 for a draw, and 1 for a loss.
Congratulations to Shayanna Sivarajasingam who won the Under 9 section with 14/15 points and her sister Venetia who won the Under 7 section with 15/15

Ladies Olympiad Warm-up Match
May 19th
The Women’s Olympiad team had a warm up match against England in Amersham last weekend. It ran alongside the e2e4 tournament and consisted of four boards with one match per day using the Olympiad time control.
