Well done to the players who entered the second weekend of the London Junior Chess Championships.

Rhys and Owen Bennett competed in the U12 Major Section and scored 4.5/9 and 5/9 respectively, very respectable scores given the strength of the competition

Shyanna Sivarajasingham entered the U12 Minor Section and scored 3/9 - a good achievement given that she was playing 3 years under age.

Emily competed in the U8 Section and finished on 3.5/7, just 1/2 a point behind the leading girls who scored 4/7. Venetia Sivarajasingham also competed in the U8, playing a year under age, and scored 2/7.
